The Chamber of National Transport is a voluntary union of legal entities and physical persons for assisting and encouraging the entrepreneurship and activity of the forwarding companies, protecting their interests, supporting the development of the international economic relations as well as the cooperation within the transport business.
The Chamber of National Transport is the employers’ representative in the transport partnership on a branch level.
It is also a co-founder of the FOBZAT - Foundation for training and social protection in the automobile transport.
The Foundation has been operating for two years. Alongside with the Dutch Foundation “SPUT” it has provided the training of managers and trade union leaders of the transport companies on the problems of the social dialogue, forms and methods for overcoming the labour conflicts, achieving consensus among the partners in the tripartite co-operation, marketing and management in the transport branch. Lecturers from the Dutch institutes “NEA” and “SBI” take part in the training process.
The Chamber of National Transport is the initiator and the principal founder of the “Transport AD” National Privatization Fund (NPF) which invests the collected capital mainly in the automobile transport.
The Plovdiv Chamber of National Transport has 22 regional associations and four representative offices in the country.
The establishment of contacts with the regional associations and the representations, with the “Transport AD” NPF as well as with the privatized transport companies can be realized through the Chamber at the address and telephones above mentioned.
