SVETLINA s.a. is one of the principal producers in the sub-branch “Electrotechnical Industry” in the Republic of Bulgaria.

The headquarters of the SVETLINA company is in the town of Sliven, Bourgas District.

SVETLINA is a legal entity, registered in the court as a joint stock company. A Board of Directors manages it. The Board constitutes of a President of the Company, a Deputy President, an Executive Director and a member.

SVETLINA is the successor of the first electric lamps producing factory in Bulgaria and on the Balkan Peninsula. The beginning was laid with the production of incandescent lamps for general lighting in 1934. Later in 1957 was started the production of fluorescent lamps, then in 1962 automobile lamps were made, in 1973 – halogen lamps and in 1977 – mercury lamps with high pressure. Quartz glass of high purity has been produced since 1977 and since 1988 – molybdenum conductor.

Today the SVETLINA company produces lamps for general lighting; halogen lamps; lamps for vehicles; fluorescent lamps; gas discharging lamps with high pressure; special lamps; lighting bodies; luminaries; quartz products; caps.

The implementation of the world achievements in field of lighting bodies and technique is a substantial part of the company’s activities. A great part of the results achieved so far is due to the company’s own research and development activity.

The main products comply with the requirements of the IEC technical documents and the automotive lamps meet the Europe homology requirements in accordance with Rule 37.

The company is in procedure of introducing the ISO 9001.

SVETLINA s.a. has a well-built in infrastructure and good premises for the production of more than 10 groups of different electric lamps, quartz tubes and articles, electronically run operation devices and half-finished items for these products. It also possesses buildings for social purposes and a propane-butane gas station for household needs and for the automobiles.

Well-qualified specialists work in the company.

In the company there has been developed and is in operation a system of suppliers from the country and abroad for the larger variety of raw materials used as well as the half-finished items needed for the production process.

SVETLINA s.a. is situated close to the main transport arteries of the town. There is also an easy access to the town by various transport means.The technologies applied in the production process are not connected with harmful emissions, which can endanger and contaminate the air, the water and the soil.

The products of the SVETLINA s.a.. – Sliven are well known and enjoy the recognition at the Bulgarian market and on the markets in Europe, Africa and Latin America.
