Industrial Economic Association (IEA) of Dobrich founded in 1982, is a voluntary, non-governmental organisation, incorporating phisical persons and legal entities in the private, public and co-operative sectors from different areas of the regional economy in district of Dobrich.

IEA of Dobrich is a non-profit organisation, legal entity located in the town of Dobrich. It is a collective member of the Bulgarian Industrial Association.

The principal objective of the EIA of Dobrich is to integrate the interests of its members, to promote their development for the realization of effective economic activities.

participates in the regional tripartite council for social dialogue and pursues an active policy for the protection of the employers;

assists the companies by attracting new partners for joint production in different fields and delivers information concerning the available production potential in the region and the country;

helps its members to achieve a more effective foreign trade policy by introducing appropriate form of collaboration and better international contacts;

encourages the initiatives of its members and the realization of projects with Bulgarian and foreign investments;

aids its members in their strive for better personnel management and high qualification standarts of their executive officers; organises the education and staff qualification training;

provides with information about national and international events such as fairs, exhibitions, business meetings, European partnership, ets.;

renders consultations, prepares documents and ensures the protection of its members in the area of industrial and intellectual property by virtue of the actual legislation;

assists the enterprises for the working out and introducing of the systems under standartisation of ISO 9000, inside audit and the settlement of specific problems of quality;

provides training and consultancy assistance for implementation of ISO 14001, for pursuing the firm policy of the environmental protection;

prepares of business plans and forms for micro-financing and development of the small and medium-sized enterprises;

facilitates the foreign trade activity of the companies by the issue and legalization of certificates of origin, authentication of documents.
