The Bulgarian Brewers Union is a voluntary association
of specialists working in or bound up with malting and brewing industry and
any other legal entities or physical persons whose aim is to foster the reputation
and productivity of Bulgarian brewing, to promote the good traditions and high
knowledge in the field of beer consumption.
It represents the malting and brewing industry before the central and regional authorities in the sphere of legislation, taxation and commercial policy as well as the scientific research related to the production processes and the raw materials used.
The Union of the brewers in Bulgaria provides contacts, exchange of experience and information about and among the Bulgarian and foreign development and research institutions. It has been a member of the European Brewery Convention since 1995.
